The boxer descends from ancient Mastiff stock.
The boxers typical coat is bi-coloured with white areas usually evident on the muzzle, chest and feet.
Boxers are an intelligent and active breed. If you are thinking of owning one you will need to give them a good daily run. The breed is known for it’s loyalty and friendliness. Their grooming needs are minimal due to their short coat. Boxers love to play and they are very human orientated.
Boxers can display a tendency to jump to get attention as they are easily excited. Train at a young age to prevent this.
Overall they are a lovely breed.
