Flayme

Tonight I took one of the Albury Dog Rescue dogs for a run. He is a high energy boy who needs exercise. I first met him a few months ago and then again in June when his foster carer bought him to my training day.

I really like this dog. He is such a character. Tonight I was talking and obviously taking far too long to get moving in his doggy brain. So he just picked up his lead tugged it. I took the hint and got moving.

We went roller blading tonight for about 5kms and then  I took him to my house for a while for some social time with my dogs. Flayme and Mick got along famously. They both have the same energy levels. It was hilarious to watch them running at each other from opposite ends of the yard and collide in mid air! I’m going to have him over more often for play dates I think.

After that, Mick and I walked Flayme home. The whole time Flayme was an angel. Mick, not so much!

Anyway, the point of this story is that Flayme needs a home. He is such a lovely boy. Because of his high energy levels he definitely needs an active family who will put the time into exercising him.

This is a picture of him from the training day. For those of you who are wondering, that is a Halti on his head. It’s a walking aid that we were experimenting with as he used to pull on the lead. He will now walk quite comfortably on a check chain.

You can view his full profile here.

Since they posted this profile his foster carers have been working on his manners and they have improved immensely.

If you think you might be the right family for this guy please give Albury Dog Rescue a call.

Until next time

Brydie.
