Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about these policies. It is our goal to protect our mutual interests. Clear policies improve communication, and therefore promote healthy relationships between us.

PRIVATE LESSONS

  • All scheduled private lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 72-Hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. Late cancellations and “No-Shows” will be charged at the normal rate.
  • Private lesson packages must be completed within the allotted time frame beginning on the date of their first lesson. If the lessons are not completed within this time, it will be at the discretion of The Dog Education Centre, to determine if the reason for the delay was warranted. Clients that wish to extend their end training date, must submit a written statement requesting a delay, including the reason for the delay, and the proposed date to resume training. • A travel fee of $50 will be added for each lesson at any location more than 20kms from the Dog Education Centre.

GROUP CLASSES

It is the responsibility of each student to be on time and present for each class.
Please carefully consider your schedule, commitment to training, and your dog before registering for class. Our class sizes are small to ensure quality. By enrolling, you are reserving a space in one of our courses, i.e., specific sessions in specific classes (at specific times and dates).

  • It is the responsibility of each student to be on time and present for each class.
  • Make up classes are not available for missed classes; however, an abbreviated private lesson may be available at an additional cost. Please contact us for details and current pricing information.

  • If it is determined by the class trainer that your dog is not appropriate for the class that you signed up for, we will move you to a more appropriate class. There may be an additional charge depending on which class you and your dog are moved to.

REFUNDS FOR SERVICES

We do not offer a monetary refund. Instead we stand 100% behind our training.

What Does This Mean?

Our dog training programs form a partnership between our clients, their dog, and our team of dog trainers. The success of our programs depends on us performing our job correctly, and also on the owner following up on the homework and strategies that we lay out for them.

Instead, we will offer further lessons at discounted rates for those clients who have shown diligence and regularity in their training to achieve their goals. We will stand behind you if you are standing behind your dog and doing the work.
This option is at the sole discretion of the Manager and Director of the Dog Education Centre.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS FOR PURCHASED MERCHANDISE/PRODUCTS

Products may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Any products that have been used, display signs of use/excessive wear, are dirty, have pet hair on them, or other signs of prolonged use are not eligible for a refund.

Please contact us directly, and we will assist you with your return or repair if needed
